The Church and the gospel of Christ or Christ now dwelling in the believer has been revealed. Though the Old Testament had prophecy of Christ and a foreshadow of things to come much was hidden until Christ was revealed.

Jude make clear that those who were apostate have lived since the early days of creation and that Enoch prophecied concerning those who turned away from the faith. The seventh from Adam makes prophecy and Jude adds that this is extended to future fulfillment.
