So many people think of Jesus of Nazareth as a peaceful guru who never got upset or said a cross word. That just simply is not the truth. But others think of Jesus as someone constantly dooming people to Hell and cursing them. This week we have an honest conversation about the times and places where Jesus became aggravated or angry.

Each year the Nazarene denomination and many like it have gatherings of teens and young believers looking for a deeper understanding and deeper relationship with Christ. But when they leave home on this pilgrimage what really happens? Is revival happening? Are people still called to ministry? This week the conversation we talk to members of our youth group who attended NYC (Nazarene Youth Conference). Join us as we hear what this meant to them.

OK, so we know what is, but sin the same for you and me. Is all sin the same? What did Jesus say that might shed light on that? Join us for the second part of this conversation.

Is caring about the environment somthing that Christians have any business doing? Is that a part of our faith? Or is worrying about the environment a lack of faith?

Tolerance?
Is being tolerant or accepting of others an important part of being a Christian? Tolerance or acceptance of others has been argued deeply by believers and Churches since the beginning of the Church. As we read the Bible, and particularly the teaching and actions of Jesus it can be hard to see how wone would not be accepting of the fringes. Join us as we talk this out.

The Christian religion is two thousand years old and yet if one went to find the Church they may be confused. There is no one place or representative one would call THE Christian Church. Instead there are hundreds of separate churches that proclaim to follow Jesus Christ. Why so many divisions or different ways of worshiping God? Whose plan is this, God or humanity? Is all of this variety good; is it evil? Let’s have a conversation.

Is the Bible still relevant? This book as we know it has been around in some form seventeen hundred years. How can a book that old still be relevant to the lives of people today? First, what is relevance? During this week’s conversation we walk through this idea.

Works alone cannot get you to eternal life. Faith without works is dead. Like so many Christian theological stances the truth is somewhere in between the hard lines of our religion. Come along with us as we have a good conversation about the wrinkles in this argument.

Credible?
Is Christianity a credible religion? Better yet, are Christians a credible people? Some would argue that it isn’t what matters. Is whether Jesus is credible, does the Holy Spirit move? But who will even listen to the message of the people who are delivering it are not credible, loving, graceful, real? This week we walk through this question.

Sin?
What is a sin? When people take about sin there are many different ways they define it. Even in the Church and in the Bible there are different ways that sin is looked, even the person who sins and didn’t know. In the conversation today we are talking about this controversial topic. It will likely not be the last time.
