EGLIN AFB — The first Medal of Honor earned in the Vietnam War will have a permanent place of honor in the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) compound when it is donated next month by the recipient, retired Army Col. Roger Donlon.

AFSOC Commander Lt. Gen. Brad Webb addressed a crowd at the American Legion Post 235 in Fort Walton Beach.

“It is with great regret that I announce the loss of Specialist Nicholas C. Jividen, of 3rd Battalion, Headquarters and Support Company,” Col. Patrick T. Colloton, commander of the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), said in a statement.

Capt. Robert Curry has spent 16 years working in the Air Force. He is the Special Mission Planner for the 1st Special Operations Air Operation Squadron. Listen to why he is this week's "Hurlburt's Finest."

He is a member of our Health and Wellness Center, where he and his associates teach Hurlburt Field members how to properly take care of their body. Brent is famous on base for his enthusiasm, passion for his work, and ability to talk to people.
