There has been a lot written about the ego - how to tame it, embrace it, notice it, etc. but James Redfield introduced a perspective in his book The Celestine Prophecy that blew me away. He takes the ambiguity away from tying our actions to our ego so that we can be more aware. Pleasing my ego sounds a lot less alarming to me than “stealing other people’s energy,” and that is what caught my attention with his insights. In this episode, I share his perspective and how it helped me be more aware when my ego is trying to be front and center.
