A Leadership Conversation with Pastor Ryan Rush. In this episode, we talk about the "Meeting before the Meeting."
When there is major change or challenges, we must be diligent in having the meeting before the meeting. Effective leadership invites others to hear and speak into strategic changes. Face-to-face meetings with the key leaders and influencers before implementing the change or addressing challenges will allow us to get buy-in and support before the actual meeting.
The "Meeting before the Meeting" can be a simple tool for leaders to be effective when leading change in their context.

A Leadership Conversation with Pastor Ryan Rush. In this episode, we talk about how to pass negatives up and positives down. A healthy culture is built upon trust and the role of a leader is to manage the good and the bad.
The big picture is really looking at our attitude and how we stay positive with those who work for us and passing negatives to our supervisors. How do we view the challenges as opportunities instead of allowing them to become toxic in our culture. We can easily find ourselves complaining together and festering the negative with our team instead of pointing to the positive and the opportunities that are presented.
Passing negatives up and positives down is all about creating a culture that is consistently moving forward.

A Leadership Conversation with Pastor Ryan Rush. In this episode, we talk about the power of "NO." How do we prioritize our time, schedules, and responsibilities to be better leaders? We all are given the same amount of time in our days, weeks, and months.
We must learn the power of saying NO. Saying "NO" is all about prioritizing your time and energy on the stuff that really matters. Priorities are not those things we think are most important. Priorities are the things we say yes to at the expense of other things.
