This month's update carries both grief and hope. We remember Dick Eastman — President of Every Home for Christ for 34 years and one of the great prayer warriors of our generation — who passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, after 46 years of faithful service.

We also bring you remarkable stories from the field: water tanks finally delivered to a family in Samoa who survived on just 46 litres a day, a new van transforming ministry reach across remote island roads, and a powerful moment praying with the Prime Minister of Samoa. This month's episode is centred on the Easter season, with reflections on hope, resurrection, and the power of the gospel in action. We hear an inspiring firsthand account from Roselyn Nikkie of EHC PNG, who led a team of nineteen missionaries from Papua New Guinea to Albury, NSW — distributing over 5,000 gospel tracts and sharing remarkable street evangelism stories that will move you to both tears and praise.

As we begin a new year, we do so with both gratitude and reflection. We pause to honour the life and ministry of Rev. Heng Cheng, a faithful servant whose leadership helped shape the spiritual growth of Cambodia and strengthened the mission of Every Home for Christ across the Asia Pacific. His wisdom, vision and deep love for the Gospel left an enduring impact, and he will be greatly missed by the global EHC family. We take comfort in God’s promise that He draws near to those who mourn and wipes away every tear.

As we approach the end of 2025, this December–January newsletter reflects on God’s faithfulness and the joy of Christmas through the spirit of generous giving. At Every Home for Christ Australia & New Zealand, we are reminded that giving is an act of worship, rooted in gratitude and trust in God. The Asia Pacific Youth Summit 2025 in Sydney empowered new Christian leaders and expanded the NexGen movement across six nations. Urgent projects include building a safe dormitory for orphan girls in India, replacing essential classroom furniture in Sri Lanka, and creating an inclusive playground in Zambia to support children’s growth and belonging.

Together, these initiatives reflect EHC’s commitment to holistic ministry — combining spiritual transformation with practical action. As EHC looks to the next 50 years, it continues to bring Christ’s message into every home and generation, building hope one prayer and one life at a time.
