Lynn Cole is the recent President and Chair of the Board of Directors for Mediators Beyond Borders, International. She recently accepted the position of President and CEO of Rezoud Academy.
Prior to serving clients, both public and private, in Contract and Employment cases as an av-rated, trial attorney, Lynn moved her focus for the last 11 years to that of a full-time mediator and mediation trainer, arbitrator and magistrate judge. She is Harvard-trained and mediation certified in Florida and internationally by the International Mediation Institute ("IMI") in The Hague. In 2005, she began her work as an international Mediation Specialist assisting in the design of court-related mediation programs in Bulgaria, Jordan and Kosovo, where she served as a Mediation Specialist and Senior ADR Advisor through 2012.
From November 2011 to March 1, 2014, she served as the President and Chair of the Board of Directors for Mediators Beyond Borders, International. She is a recognized author on the explosive global growth of international mediation. She has lectured and trained extensively and internationally in Commercial Mediation, both Basic and Advanced; Ethics; Basic and Advanced Mediation; and, Community Mediation. She also has taught mediation courses for students in foreign and domestic universities and law schools. Over the last 8 years, she has conducted mediation training for judges, attorneys and mediators from Jordan, Oman, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo and Turkey.
