Congratulations to Joel Bogen!. He has been selected as NAFCM's 3rd Quarter Outstanding Volunteer.
Joel Bogen has been a mediator and facilitator in private practice since 2007. In that time, he has mediated over 1,000 cases of every variety imaginable, including family and domestic, government and corporate, commercial, workplace, and protection orders.
Joel is a Professional Mediator with the MAC (The Mediation Association of Colorado), and currently sits on its Ethics Committee. He has presented ethics panel discussions twice at the Colorado Statewide ADR Conference, and has lectured on high-conflict and protection order mediation. He has volunteered with Jefferson County Mediation Services, Court Annexed Mediation Program, and Court Mediation Services, winning awards for his work with each organization.
Joel is an educator, having taught at every level through college. In previous work incarnations, he has been a banker, waiter, investor and traveler. In 1995 he lived in Bogota for six months, and absolutely loved it. Latin American culture is one of his passions.
Joel has degrees in Speech Communication from the University of Texas at Austin and Spanish from Metropolitan State College.
