We welcome in special guest, co-founder of Center Cut Records, Patrick Sprehe. We’ll hang out and play through some of his favorite recordings of 2023. Co-host and producer, Sarah Bradshaw will also join us on the show today.

We sit down with one of our favorite returning guests, Bill Brownlee. He’s an amazing blogger, a contributor to KCUR 89.3, he's the biggest music nerd I know, and he's a great human.

He’s picked out some of his favorite recordings of 2023 and we’ll share them on the show. Also, we’ll talk about some of his favorite shows of the year and discuss his current piece for KCUR about Charlie Parker and his famous plastic saxophone.

It's our special Holiday Show and you're invited to come be part of it! We'll be live on the 4th floor of The Beer Hall at Boulevard Brewery. We'll be set up in their Holiday Pop-up with our special guests, The Snow Globes. From 6-7PM The Snow Globes will be guests on the radio show and we'll hear several selections from their catalog and interview them and talk about their big upcoming show this Sunday, Dec. 17 at the Grand Theater at Crown Center, also on that bill is Barnaby Bright.

Then from 7-8PM The Snow Globes will play a FREE concert for you in the Holiday Pop-up. It should be a festive evening in The Beer Hall. Special holiday drinks and snacks are available and a lot of 90.9 The Bridge staff will be on-site and I'm sure there will be some great swag around too!

We continue the celebration of our favorite season of the year, that’s “BEST OF” season. Soon several BEST OF lists will come out showing our favorite singles/EPs/LPs of 2023, so today’s show is a sampling of that. In addition to that, it is also Pledge Week.
