Apocalypse Meow is the annual fundraiser event for Midwest Music Foundation (MMF). MMF goes above and beyond to help musicians in times of emergency. From medical needs to recovery and support issues, and through Covid, when everyone’s gigs were canceled, they helped keep KC musicians afloat. It’s an amazing event and it’s happening on Saturday, November 5 at recordBar.

After that, we dive into new music! Our list of 2022 releases (LPs/EPs/etc) has now gone over 500+ releases by Kansas City area musicians!

This week on the show hear new and recent releases from Kid Computer, Kristopher Bruders, Caley Rose, Tre' Mutava with Noah Anthony, You Monster You, PURE XTC, Eddie Moore, Plains, and Hermon Mehari.

And we tried to play it last week but ran into a technical glitch, so we play the new single from Black Light Animals again, but for the first time.
