An 80's Hi-NRG DJ mix by Odis Campbell. This seems to be a dupe, judging from the tape hiss on the Cassette. It's not the best recording and we have done our best to clean it up. We removed as much tape hiss as possible without adding digital artifacts. Most of the tape played fine, but there were points where the balance between the left and right channels was out of balance. We did our best to level them back out.

Recorded live at Paradise Garage. This is a rare recording! This was taken from a cassette tape, that had been duped from a cassette, from someone elses cassette, of a friend's cassette (maybe.....were not sure how many dupes, but it sounded like a few generations of dupes) The tape had a lot of tape hiss so, we used some digital noise reduction to pull the hiss frequencies out of the mix. It was then re-EQ'd to brighten up the recording. It's not the best recording, but it is Paradise Garage history. This was probably from the early to mid 80's. There was no date written on the tape.

Odis Campbell was a DJ at Castro Station, The Box, and other clubs around San Francisco. He passed away on May 1, 1992. This tape is from the Joseph Durham tape archives.
