Eileen Gu is the human TikTok. Like the addictive video-sharing app used by the Chinese Communist Party to seduce and mine worldwide billions of people’s data, the beautiful American skier who has won a gold medal for China during Winter Olympics underway in Beijing personifies the CCP’s efforts to induce submission to its inexorable global rise. 

Ms. Gu is not alone in playing, in her case literally, for the other team. Author Peter Schweizer, the Victims of Communism Foundation, Consumer’s Research, the Coalition for a Prosperous America and the Committee on the Present Danger: China are among those naming the names of U.S. corporate, financial, political and other elites “captured” by Communist China – to our extreme detriment.

Those helping obscure the threat we face from the CCP and otherwise enabling it should be condemned, not applauded for doing so – let alone rewarded.
