Stabile und qualitativ hochwertige Betonkanalsysteme sind wichtig für Deutschlands Infrastruktur. So weit, so einleuchtend. Aber unter Klimaschutzaspekten "nachhaltig" sind sie nicht – schließlich ist Beton ein Klimakiller... sollte man meinen.
Der Bundesfachverband Betonkanalsysteme e.V. (FBS) fand heraus, dass dem nicht so ist und sogar das Gegenteil der Fall ist: Im Vergleich zu Kunststoffkanalsystemen schneidet Beton mit Blick auf den CO2-Fußabdruck fast immer besser ab und ist damit auch unter Nachhaltigkeitsgesichtspunkten die erste Wahl für Städte, Gemeinden und industrielle Auftraggeber.
Aber wie kommuniziert man etwas, das die Zielgruppen jahrzehntelang anders "gelernt" haben? Argumentativ mit dem "Vorschlaghammer", methodisch sehr ausgewählt und mit "Samthandschuhen" – so in etwa erklärt Dr. Markus Lanzerath, Geschäftsführer des FBS, das Vorgehen seines Verbands in Sachen Nachhaltigkeitskommunikation.

„Unser Ziel ist es nicht nur, zufriedene Mitglieder, sondern begeisterte Fans zu haben" - Ralf Dürrwächter, Geschäftsführer des Verbands Deutscher Werkzeug- und Formenbauer e.V. (VDWF), beschreibt in dieser Folge, wie sein Verband Neumitglieder gewinnt und Bestandsmitglieder an sich bindet.
Unter anderem geben er und sein Agenturpartner Fabian Diehr Einblicke in die aktuelle Testimonialkampagne des Verbands und erläutern, warum 99% der Verbandsangebote "nicht nur für Mitglieder, sondern offen für alle Interessierten" sind. Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen: Dürrwächter (übrigens ausgezeichnet als Verbandskommunikator des Jahres 2021) konnte die Mitgliederzahl des VDWF in den zurückliegenden Jahren von 150 auf 480 steigern.

Auch 2023 das Nr.1-Thema bei vielen Verbänden: Die Unterstützung der Mitglieder bei der Gewinnung von Fachkräften. Der Deutsche Verband der Aromenindustrie (DVAI) geht gemeinsam mit dem Deutschen Verband der Riechstoffhersteller (DVRH) erfolgreich neue Wege und entwickelte einen eigenen, europaweit einzigartigen Studiengang zum „Flavour Technologist“. Gelehrt wird dieser an der Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT). Er beinhaltet neben den Vorlesungen auch ein Praktikum in einem der Mitgliedsunternehmen.
Der DVAI wurde dafür unlängst von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Verbansmanagement als „Verband des Jahres“ in der Kategorie Mitglieder und Mehrwert ausgezeichnet – Grund genug nachzufragen: Was muss man tun, um als Verband ein solches Angebot entwickeln und implementieren zu können? Wie hoch ist der personelle und zeitliche Aufwand? Inwiefern können die Mitgliedsunternehmen davon direkt oder indirekt profitieren? Und: Ist dieses Modell auf andere Verbände und Qualifikationen übertragbar?

Bei vielen Verbänden steht das Werben um Nachwuchs bzw. Fachkräfte für die Mitgliedsunternehmen aktuell weit oben auf der Agenda. Der Bundesverband deutscher Wohnungs- und Immobilienunternehmen e.V. (GdW) ist dieses Thema nicht nur sehr früh angegangen (2009), sondern damit bis heute auch sehr erfolgreich. Mit Blick auf den Azubi- und Fachkräftemangel, da sind sich meine Gäste Sandra Balicki und Dr. Matthias Zabel vom GdW sicher, geht es der Wohnungswirtschaft heute besser als anderen Branchen.
