“Baby One Eye” is a song that E.J. wrote about Katrina. Baby One Eye is E.J.'s cat. She miraculously survived on her own in New Orleans after Katrina. This is a rough cut that I got to play harmonica on. It was recorded during the same session as I'll Never Forget. Download BabyOneEye.mp3.

Neighborhood Blues is a traditional 12 bar blues song written by E.J. that appeared on his "Live at Club Soda" album. This performance was captured live Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans. Conscious Dub is an original Reggae/Dub song that appeared on "E.J. Phillips & the Electric Blues Band". This was recorded Live at Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans in 2001. I stumbled into this recording of Peace and Love the other day. It was recorded live on Bourbon St. with his last (and probably best) pre-Katrina band.
