Antonio Valdovinos wanted to join the Marines ever since he was a kid. But at 18, when Valdovinos tried to enlist in the Marines, he was turned away. he was part of a generation of undocumented youth, or "Dreamers". This experience led him to get involved in achieving higher voter turnout and electing people that would help his community. His company, La Machine, is a field operations firm that helps local and national clients reach and interact with potential voters.
