What's a podcast without your best friend? I just met this guy and he became one of my closest acquaintance. He is also a fellow musician. He has his own band called " Primer Vicio " which translates to " Fighting Chicken " in English. He sings and plays lead guitar I'm his band. They have a ton of original music so make sure you check them out on all streaming platforms. In this episode we discuss life as a working musician in this crazy Fresno city. Edwin shares an experience were a crazy chick walks in his gig with a sledge hammer, hits one of the band members and goes outside to smash  Edwins truck. We also talk about why he thinks his band  hasn't made it even tho they have shared big stages with groups such as Eslabon Armado and Regulo Caro. In a personal note for the local musicians listening, pay close attention. Edwin gets personal about some insecurities with in himself that most of us can relate to. I was saving this one. Throw back to when I used to be a permanent member of Ruta 99. Now I am just a hired gun. We shot this back in 2021 at the old studio. Shout out to  White Glove Studios for always doing an excellent job with the recordings. In this episode we talk bout how we got kicked off stage at the Chukchansi Stadium during our set because we played the cover song " Gracias " which Grupo Firme was also playing later on the night. They didn't like that we did that so they pulled the plug on us mid song. There were so many emotions during that time I felt like crying. We found out how it all went downfall the way from the security guards  to the ones running the whole thing. That night we broke records and in front of all of Fresno we were humiliated. I was more embarrassed than the first time I purposely showed my penis to people. If your a Firme fan I recommend you hear this so you see for yourself the peaces of shit they truly are. My friendship with Isma is older then rocks and just like rocks, its hard to break. He was with me in one of my first bands. " Los Cancioneros de Balta Cervantes, " What a gay ass name. Anyways, he has seen me in my lows and highs so we reflect on that in this episode. Isma has his own band " Los Parientes de La Baja, " Make sure you listen to his music in all streaming platforms. We recorded this back in 2020 during covid. 2 years to post but my beautiful friend Iyah Wise dropped some knowledge in this episode. He is a reggae artist in the Fresno area expressing his experiences in life through music.  We speak about his time in Jamaica and transitioning into the states. How racial discrimination between his own race impacted his life. I experienced in this podcast a different view into racism. I highly recommend sticking through out the whole show.
