Strange Scaffold's I Am Your Beast made several of our GOTY lists, with good reason. This game feels like a prototype to that, trading Beast's frenetic relentless energy for a drawn out character study. It's not a very good trade, but seeing the strange scaffolding built up in El Paso Elsewhere to later enable Beast is at the very least fascinating. At the very least, you have to respect the art and swagger!
