Jesus teaches us that true Christian correction is not about gossip, judgment, or proving that we are right. It is about speaking directly to our brother or sister with love, humility, and the sincere desire to restore the relationship.
Before correcting others, we must first examine ourselves. Before judging, we should pray. And before speaking about someone, we should have the courage to speak with that person.
A Christian community is not made of perfect people, but of brothers and sisters who know that everyone can fall, everyone needs mercy, and everyone is called to reconciliation.
“Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” — Matthew 18:20
