Fish Out of Water es el álbum de estudio debut del bajista y compositor inglés Chris Squire , lanzado en noviembre de 1975 por Atlantic Records . El álbum se grabó durante un período en el que cada miembro de la banda de Yes se había tomado un tiempo libre para producir un álbum en solitario. Algunos de los músicos que Squire contrató para el proyecto fueron el ex baterista de Yes Bill Bruford , el entonces teclista de Yes Patrick Moraz ,saxofonista de King Crimson Mel Collins yflautista de escena de Canterbury Jimmy Hastings . El ex compañero de banda de Squire en The Syn , Andrew Pryce Jackman, tocó todos los teclados no interpretados por Moraz y orquestó el material.
