Episode notes:

Give with a great attitude Hebrew 11:4 By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

Live with a better attitude Hebrew 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

A happy parent always rewards Hebrew 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Believe with the best attitude Hebrew 11:7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

Episode notes:

Faith = guarantee, security, trust, buy in Hebrew 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

When it looks impossible, faith made it possible Hebrew 11:2 This is what the ancients were commended for.

God already saw what we can’t see yet Hebrew 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Don’t be afraid to shine

Doesn’t it feel that more and more the world seems to turn into a darker place?

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

“Sometime through life it can feel like we still walk in darkness”

John 1:4-5 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

“He wants to deal even with the ugliest version of yourself”

John 12:46 I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.

“There’s no need to live in darkness, because He has given you His light with His life”

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

“If you have given your heart to Jesus, if you truly believe in Him, His blood has been and will continue to purify you from Sin. Don’t be afraid to shine.”

Will you stop being afraid of shining for the sake of a world desperate to see light and meaning in their life?

“Don’t be afraid to shine, the world needs you to find Jesus. Are you up to the task?”

Episode notes:

Everything begins and ends with Jesus

Everything begins… John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.”

Life comes from Him John 1:4-5 “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

He is grace and truth John 1:14,17 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

Everything ends with Jesus John 1:18 “No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and[b] is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.”
