Lt: Staiga, vėjas pro atviras duris pūstelėja šaltį į miestelio rotušę.
En: Suddenly, the wind blew a chill into the town hall through the open doors.

Lt: Žingsniai ir balsų murmesys aidėjo salėje, nuolat kylančio šurmulio fone.
En: Footsteps and murmuring voices echoed in the hall, amidst the constantly rising hubbub.

Lt: Rinkimų centras veikė pilnai.
En: The election center was running at full capacity.

Lt: Visi laukė balsavimo rezultatų.
En: Everyone awaited the voting results.

Lt: Rokas, jaunas savanoris, žvelgė į Gintarę, vilties pilnas.
En: Rokas, a young volunteer, gazed at Gintarė, full of hope.

Lt: Jam rūpėjo, kad viskas vyktų sklandžiai.
En: He was concerned that everything should run smoothly.

Lt: Bet kartu bandė įrodyti save prieš Gintarę, kuri, atrodė, kritiškai vertino visus savanorius.
En: But at the same time, he tried to prove himself to Gintarė, who seemed to critically assess all the volunteers.

En: Without hesitation, he rushed forward to the device.

En: "I'll try to restore the connection," he said boldly, although he was somewhat frightened.

En: Rokas smiled a broad smile.

Lt: Jis ne tik laimėjo mažą pergalę šiandien, bet ir pajuto, kaip jų santykiai pasikeitė.
En: He not only won a small victory today but also felt how their relationship changed.

Lt: Tai buvo pirmas žingsnis į draugystę ir galbūt į dar ką nors daugiau.
