This series we will be looking at passages or even theological concepts within the Scriptures in which men have used such verses out of context, misinterpreted, over the years. The title of this sermon/lesson was 'Exegetical Fallacies / Part-10'. This lesson continues on with the misconception that there's something you can do to be born again. Then it gives the reason why salvation is a work of Monergism, a Sovereign work by the will of God. This reason is human depravity, our total utter inability to come to God on our own outside of His grace and sovereign work of regeneration. This lesson continues to build on the doctrines of total depravity / total inability and adding to this discourse the doctrine of unconditional election and summing it up with this final lesson on the matter from the High Priestly Prayer. The key texts that were used were from John 17:1-26, as well as various other texts.

In contrast to dumb idols, God presents His Son. He will bring judgment to Gentiles. Liberty is His purpose.
