In a story not covered at all: Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico presented Republican electors to the Electoral College who all voted for the Trump/Pence ticket.
This may lead to a contested election on January 6th when the votes are tallied. In such a case, VP Pence is the "President of the Senate" and he and the Republicans have an electoral majority in a joint session of Congress. Thus, the electoral votes for Biden can be discarded and the ones for Trump may be accepted.
