'Strange Familiars' is a dirty rocker full of urgency and anxiousness...

this is the part of the album where the story and the music starts to take on a panicked mode leading to the climax.

The song captures that feeling of being alone in the woods where feelings of exposure and being watched raise the hairs on the back of your neck...where feelings of deja vu bring a creepy vibe to your thoughts and manifest in your body being on edge.

About this episode :

- Brent had just joined the GLF camp - this is from early 2017.

- As it stood he was positioned to replace Adrian on lead guitar, as Adrian was moving to BC the summer of 2017.

- After our CD Release in fall of 2017 Greg was going to take a leave from the group...leaving me, Brendan and Brent to start a new project. 

- Unfortunately that day never came as Brent tragically passed away just weeks before our CD Release.

Don't worry - I won't be pushing a new GLF record quite yet, being that 'Good Living Foundation' is still in its infancy...

BUT

I do want to share / explain the new LP ideas at their inception - which is a part of what this podcast is made of ..a journal that documents these projects as they happen.

'Skyline' is set to be released October 2021.
