Will there be ONE global charging standard? Is Tesla's National Charging Standard NACS better than the Combined Charging Standard CCS1 in the US? Why do automakers transition from CCS1 to NACS? Will changing the connector make charging better for non Tesla drivers? 

Listen in to my conversation with electrification expert Matt Hortop. Matt has worked in the EV battery and fuel cell industry since the 90s for legacy automakers such as General Motors, Opel, and Volkswagen. He was also the technical director of the electric powertrain at Rivian and today he works at AVL as technical specialist for all things electrification.
