For the last four years now, Electrofans has been bringing you the best and brightest from throughout the electronic music world, through our monthly podcast.

Our goal has been two-fold:

1) To take the listener on a SONIC JOURNEY, exploring new sounds, and introducing fans to new artist and labels in the form of a mix show that is nothing less than absolutely TOP-NOTCH & CUTTING-EDGE.

2) To represent, forge, and inspire an independent electronic music scene.

This month is no exception.... For this special-edition show, we return to our progressive house roots with a pair of tracks from the Soluna Music label, our usual installment of stellar underground house selections, some "progressive techno" from Sara Simms, Melleefresh, and Flemcy Music, combined together in a set that is "heavy on the female vocals." We hope you enjoy!

We proudly present to you the ‘Trilogy’ EP, available from Flemcy Music on October 6th.

This EP includes the original track, “Trilogy,” from label mainstays JP Lantieri and Ornery, as well as re-interpretations of three different, previously-released Flemcy tracks (“Proximity,” “Equilibrium” and “Distance”), re-mixed by three extremely talented female names from the melodic techno scene (BBC1 Krafted resident LORRAÎNNE, Detroit’s melodic house & techno queen Ntsha, and Valkyria Records founder Zaria).

In classic Flemcy fashion, this EP is at once abundant with sonically rich textures, creative tones, ultra-deep melodic undercurrents, and an uplifting wave of musical inspiration…..

Tracklisting:

1) Trilogy (Original Mix)

2) Proximity (LORRAÎNNE Remix)

3) Equilibrium (Zaria Remix)

4) Distance (Ntsha Remix)

Available on Beatport October 6, 2021

https://www.beatport.com/release/trilogy/3496182

All other platforms: October 20

Release synopsis:

"For the very last time, and marking the end of a wonderful era, we are very proud to introduce ‘Trilogy EP’ by Flemcy Music’s captain JP Lantieri and his expert, techno resident Ornery as they round up their yearly collaboration series, with a final installment, and with a little help from three exceptionally talented female artists; BBC1 Krafted resident LORRAÎNNE, Detroit’s melodic house & techno queen Ntsha, and Valkyria Records founder Zaria. Rather than remixing JP & Ornery’s title track ‘Trilogy’ as you would expect, the ladies have instead supplied their interpretations of the title tracks from the boys three, successful previous years’ EP releases; ‘Proximity’, ‘Distance’ and ‘Equilibrium’, to culminate this incredible progressive story with a nice twist. Through their combined, creative passion our dynamic Flemcy duo brought us infinitely closer together with ‘Proximity’, strengthened our hearts with ‘Equilibrium, sky-rocketed us to the stars with ‘Distance’, and now ‘Trilogy’ shows us that there is nothing more rewarding than finishing what we have begun, with the very best we can give, whilst staying true to ourselves. Let us reflect and be infinitely inspired by this extremely special, Flemcy Music legacy…"

We're back, with a fresh new show featuring shuffling underground beats and bright, uplifting melodies...

It's been a little over a year since Sara Simms' 'Finally' ft. JEI was released, and Simmetry Sounds is back with a 'Finally' remix pack by Toronto's Joee Cons. Joee's releases have been played by Carl Cox, Chus & Ceballos, Roger Sanchez and UMEK. The 'Finally' Phuture Remix re-imagines the track in Joee's signature tech house style, while his Phunk Mix is a house interpretation. 'Finally' features Miami's JEI on vocals, best known for her vocal work on Intruder's (Oscar G and Ralph Falcon) 'Amame', on Ministry of Sound and Defected Records. Joee Cons demonstrates his mastery as a remixer and producer with his debut on Simmetry Sounds.

Dantian presents ‘Words Just Don’t Feel Like Enough’, a melodic house stunner that features warm, percussive beats and a deep, unassuming bassline. Driven by a constant arpeggiated topline that evolves in character and texture along with the ebb and flow of the track’s arrangement, the track will surely appeal to those who enjoy strong, emotive sounds that tell a story.

Beatport exclusive July 13, (worldwide full release July 26)

https://www.beatport.com/release/words-just-dont-feel-like-enough/3430216

Dantian’s passion for music began as a child growing up in Zimbabwe. Through soulful African music and culture, he saw how spirituality, community and music were intrinsically connected. Later, he moved to Southern California where he was introduced to electronic music and DJing, becoming so obsessed that he dragged his desktop computer to house parties, mixing using a mouse and keyboard. He soon became enamoured with music production and enjoyed the sense of empowerment that came with being able to fully express himself and his creative visions. He also organised events locally and inspired by the integration of music and spirituality at transformational music festivals, became drawn to underground house and techno music and its potential to evoke emotionally transformative experiences. His love for music has always been firmly rooted in its ability to deeply connect us with our selves, and bring people together. His productions allude to that sense of spirituality and the universal truth, characterised by beautiful, ethereal melodies and hypnotic rhythms.
