Verdant Session October 2025 for Electronic Convergence
For October I was thrilled to host some wonderful pals and leading living legends from the thriving dub techno community. Bjarnar Jonsson [Ohm] has a long and respected history with the genre and now channels his developed taste into his Ohm Series vinyl and digital labels. He's often collaborating with guest number 2... Johnny Fredsgaard [Kvadrant] whose Kontakt project is now approaching 50 releases with many of those featuring Ohm & Kvadrant productions. In recent times Kontakt has hosted a who’s who of the Dub Techno landscape … Mike Schommer, Rod Modell, Shed, Steve O'Sullivan, cv313, Octal Industries, Resoe but also some brilliant and inventive remix projects from Bjorn Torske, Lawrence and Joey Anderson to name a few. Last but not least, Alex Lenta completed our quartet. He also produces music and designs artwork for the Ohm Series label.
For this set together we naturally locked into some delicious dub techno beats playing recent releases, previewed forthcoming releases on Ohm Series, Kontakt and works in progress by Lentza and Ulf & Ralf. Saying that, its not all dub t and we dropped some other refined flavours into our selections
In essence, its all unplanned and just the 4 of us enjoying a long mix together…dive in!
we also created a full AV recording with some lush visuals containing amazing landscapes from Ohm's native Iceland!
