Life is difficult and full of trials, but gives us the grace and strength to endure and remain steadfast. As the firstfruits of God's new creation, Christians are to be a sign to the rest of the world of the great things to come in God's renewed creation. When we remain steadfast, full of joy, through the trials of life, we are that sign.
