Diving into Hebrews 4:11-13, we open our series with wrestling about if the Bible is true. What we discover in our wrestling is that the bible certainly is, but most importantly, it is living and active unlike any other religious text. Our response to that reality, whether we submit our wrestling, questions, and everything else in our lives to the authority of God's Word, will change our reality here and forever. This is the question that influences all other questions we wrestle with.

Before a new year, everyone rushes to make resolutions to change. What if the only resolution you made is to slow down and be changed by the invitation to rest as a child of God and a student of the Way of Jesus? Jesus' invitation is offered to us in Matthew 11!

Boaz and Ruth show us wisdom on the threshing floor, and how our Redeemer, Jesus, is nearer to us than we realize. Our series on The Way of Wisdom continues as we get closer to finishing the story and book of Ruth.

We are diving deeper into the book of Ruth to learn practical ways from the text HOW to apply wisdom. Our series on The Way of Wisdom continues through the story of Ruth and a new character, Boaz, in order for the both of them to point us to Jesus and Jesus' Way of life.

After laying the foundation for WHAT wisdom is, we now turn to the book of Ruth in our series to learn practical ways from the text HOW to apply wisdom. The story of Ruth begins in hopelessness, but in her pursuit of God's Way of Wisdom, the story offers a glimpse of hope that is only found in God and pursuing God's Way with God's people. Let's pursue wisdom together.

In Hebrews, the writers urges us to respond to the reality of Jesus with worship, and gives us practical ways to do so. We can respond with worship because God is faithful and the same yesterday, today, and forever!

This Fall semester, Element will learn about the Way of Wisdom that Jesus offers us to follow by exploring the first and last chapter of Proverbs, spending devotional time through the whole book, and studying the book of Ruth. Bryon closes our time together in Proverbs by unpacking Proverbs 31 in order to set us up for success to see how Ruth embodies wisdom and applies it to her own life...and how that ultimately points to Jesus as the fulfillment of wisdom!
