The crew is back with a severely altered plan for Episode 11. Given all the COVID-related news, we scrapped our end of year show plans and moved into a discussion about the NHL players not participating in the Olympics, where Team USA goes from here and Straiter tells us about his experiences as the captain of the World Junior Team, and Batesy provides a little context on what it's like to scout the event. 

And Mitch is nowhere to be found but we take care of his trademark ending....

The guys are back in Episode 10 and Farky and Mitch talk about how Mitch rejected his Christmas gift. Then, they get the story about where Batesy was for the Stephen Gionta interview in Episode 9. The guys also share perspectives on the Arizona Coyotes situation and how bad it is for the franchise, and they catch up with former Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller, who talks about how he developed his play style, his time at UVM in college, and playing for the B's.

The crew is back for Episode 9 as we continue on with a conversation from Episode 8 about creativity in the game and we expand it to discuss all kinds of players and how roles are established on the ice. Also, when did Mitch and Straiter learn their roles in the NHL and were those roles easy to accept? Would they have done anything differently? We also give Batesy grief for his busy professional life that's getting in the way of this episode and we're joined by former NHL player and current NHL scout Stephen Gionta. He talks about his career, the nerves that come with being a guy who has spent a lot of time in the AHL and he discusses winning two Cups as a scout with the Lightning. 

With the Major League Baseball owners locking out the MLB players last week, the crew is back for Episode 8 talking about their own experiences with the NHL lockout of 2012-13, and they discuss the lockout of 2004-2005 that cost the league the entire season. And then, they sit down with former NHL all-star and Stanley Cup Champion, Scott Gomez, to discuss his career, his investment in Elev802, his time coaching in the league and more. And the guys finish up talking about the amount of creativity currently in the game.
