Jude in July - Week 9 by Elevate Christian Church

The word woe is a warning that someone has stirred up the Righteous Anger of a Holy God. It is used to express a denunciation, i.e., it is used to pronounce someone or something as blameworthy and evil.

In the message we will examine the deadly progression of sin in our lives.

It starts with disbelief and it ends with death. Only Jesus is able to save us from this progression.

In this message we will look at four characteristics of false prophets.

False prophets exist because the real thing exists. Forgeries are never made of forgeries. They are not the truth, but they are proof of the truth.

There are some things in life worth fighting for.

In Jude 3 we are challenged to contend for the faith. We will examine how we can fight the good fight of faith!

We will learn that Christians should root for other Christians to succeed. Churches should root for other churches. We are all on the same team!

We will learn something about our identity. We are not what other people say we are. We are not what the devil says we are. We are who God says we are. God says we are called, blessed and kept!
