Meet Justin Merow, Author of "Flash Maz and The Wisdom of Wonders"!

Justin Merow is an author from Denver, Colorado who is passionate about helping young learners learn! Growing up in Denver, Merow and his family experienced setbacks that were very common to minorities in his community. Fortunately, at age 11 Justin was invited to participate in a residential scholarship program at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Colorado. Further down the road, however, he made some choices that nearly took his life away at age 19. Miraculously, local medical teams were able to push him to a full recovery after surviving 2 weeks in a coma, and body paralysis.  

Since then, Merow has accepted the challenge from himself to pursue his talents in effort to spread positive messages to help shift the popular narrative in media. "Flash Maz and The Wisdom of Wonders" is a book for students in 1st - 8th grades and a great companion to learning more about topics already taking place in their classrooms. Flash Maz encourages readers to explore new worlds, learn new knowledge, and to be okay with sharing that wisdom!

Justin Merow is a father of three, and a full time Teaching Assistant and Girls' Basketball Coach at Cherry Creek Academy since 2023.
