  • Elevate & Run Episode 1 with Diana!
    Episode #1 with Diana Lapadula
Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ. Middle child of seven-six girls and one boy). She attended parochial grammar and high school. No physical activities or sports to speak of! Her High School Physical Education teacher was quite an octogenarian-so you can imagine! :) She attended college at Rutgers University-English Education major/Music minor. No sports or any athletic activities-held 2 jobs during the school year (tutoring and working in the Admissions Office) besides a full credit load. She and her 4 older sisters were all education majors, her father thought they should be teachers. She completed teaching semester at Arts High-Newark, NJ, which she found to be extremely demanding, exhausting and frustrating (besides the fact that all of my students were taller than she was:). So she decided to take the LSAT’s, and went to law school. Passed the bar, and then practiced trial law for 36 years in the NY and NJ federal and state courts.
She moved to California in 2016 from NY (where she had lived for the previous 20 years). Began teaching for STAR Education (non-profit educational enrichment program for K-5) throughout the LA school system through the present. She has 2 children -Sherry and Daniel, who are both married, and each with 2 children of their own-and is incredibly proud of them all!
