"After that next level everyone and you're trying to do what's good. You actually are doing what's good. You're getting up early. You're working hard. You're going after that new level of your dream and then can any of you relate?
It's all of a sudden like out of nowhere you're doing everything right and boom, you get struck with so much adversity all at once it just smashes you down and you're wondering why? Why is this happening to me?
Why God?
I'm doing everything that you put in my heart to do. I've been following the strategies, I'm doing everything I know how to do. I'm working so hard. I'm wanting to do go and be the best version of myself. Why are you putting me through all this pain?
Why?
Can any of you relate?
Whether it's physical pain or in your finances or in your relationships or whatever circumstantial things just crush you. And you're wondering why are you allowing this to happen to me?
I'm going to tell you little story about a tree. Now there was this tree, it was an apple tree. And it was a good size tree. It was about average size and each year it produced apples and the tree loved it in the fall time. The kids would come and pick the apples and that was like one of his favorite times of the year. They would come. They would pick the ripe apples, put them in their bags and he noticed next to him there was an even bigger tree that always had more apples and it always had the most kids around it because his would run out faster and so then all the kids would continue to flock to that bigger tree to get more apples 'cause it produced more fruit. But the tree didn't think much of it.
He enjoyed the time he was having until one day this gardener comes walking up to the tree with these giant scissors. These giant claws. And the gardener comes up to the tree and he's smiling and he's whistling and he just starts cutting away at the tree's branches. And he's cutting at the tree's branches and the tree's saying, "Ow, what are you doing to me? Stop. You're hurting me dude. Quit it. Ow." And the gardener's smiling and whistling and he just keeps chopping his leaves off and cutting branches and the tree's screaming, "Why are you doing this to me? You're torturing me. Why?" And then the gardener just walks off whistling, having the greatest day ever. The tree's thinking, "Why did you just torture me and now you're walking off whistling?"
And then fall starts to come in. And winter's creeping in and now this tree has less branches and less trees than it's ever had before. And so it starts feeling the cold earlier that year. That winter is one of the most brutal winters. The tree has the least amount branches it's ever had. It's freezing like to death and it's enduring this pain and it's thinking, "Why the heck did that gardener come and cut all my branches away? Why is he torturing me?" And the tree's freezing and s
