E4 Youth is an Austin, TX based non-profit that bridges the gap between underserved creative youth and creative careers.  Today, we sit down with their Founder and Executive Director, Carl Settles Jr. to learn about their Employability Curriculum, which helps classroom educators build stronger relationships with students of color.  Join us as we learn about the impact they are making on their community and discover ways for our listeners to get involved!

Firehouse Ministries primarily serves chronically homeless men in Birmingham. Since 1983, they have stayed true to their mission addressing and meeting the needs through emergency shelters and housing necessary to increase the stability of their clients, with the goal of getting the men into permanent supportive housing.  Today, we sit down with their Executive Director, Anne Rygiel, to learn about the impact they are making on their community and discover ways for our listeners to get involved!
