Elevation Church PODCAST

What would you do for your faith? How can we share the Gospel, how can we be the light of the world, and how can we step out of our comfort zones to help others? This week Gold Coast Associate Pastor Isaac Lenton, brings a thought-provoking message on the wrestle of the Christian life, our mission, and our modern mindsets in the Church.

The beginning of the year is often a time where we look to grow, change, commit to bettering ourselves and helping those around us. But how can we grow when we feel we are stuck? How can we grow past our current circumstance, when what we see says the opposite? This week, Lead Pastor Miles Paludan kicks off our 2023 with a message about Growth, and rising above your situation!

The wise men travelled a far distance seeking a foreign messiah, and when they encountered Jesus, they couldn't help but fall to their knees in worship. Their personal encounter of Jesus left them in awe and reverence, and their worship was authentic. This week, Gold Coast Associate Pastor Brad Whittington, explores the journey of the wise men, and how we can be inspired by their authentic worship today, to do the same.

The wise men brought gifts to Mary, Joseph, and the Child Jesus. Each gift was symbolic of the person of Jesus, the gift of Frankincense: was associated with High Priests and holy officials. But what does it mean to see Jesus as our own personal High Priest? This week, Executive Pastor Miles Paludan unpacks the gift of frankincense, and how we can view Jesus as our powerful and personal High Priest!

The birth of Jesus was a sign and wonder, not just for the people of Israel, but for the rest of the world. The saviour of mankind, recognised by the wise men who bestowed gifts unto him. This week, Gold Coast Young Adults Pastor Isaac Lenton, opens up our Christmas series exploring the revelation of Jesus as our personal saviour.

In the book of Acts, the early Church would often see supernatural signs and wonders. Do encounters still happen the same way today? What are encounters for, and how can God use the local Church to help those in our communities through these encounters? This week Executive Pastor Miles Paludan finishes our "Powerhouse" series on supernatural encounters, and how God can encounter anyone to build the Church.

The church is often referred to as a body of believers, instead of four walls and a building. What does church community look like, and how can we be there for others around us in need? This week, Gold Coast Associate Pastor Brad Whittington explores how the early church in the book of Acts, approached community, and how we can do the same today.

When the Holy Spirit came upon the early church in Acts, there was a boldness within the church, sharing their faith publicly and unashamed. This week, Executive Pastor Miles Paludan explores how we can be bold in our faith today, sharing the gospel, and caring for those around us!
