Certain passages in the Bible are familiar to us because, over the years, they have been stitched into decorative pillows and turned into inspirational posters. But just because something is familiar doesn’t mean that we understand it. By the time February rolls around, most of us are just about sick of winter. But the short days and cold nights linger, and for many people, this can be the most difficult month of the year. A life of faith requires us to press on through all seasons, so let’s spend some time learning how to pray, even when it’s the last thing we feel like doing.
