I apologize that I missed last week's podcast episode.  I was at a meeting with our insurance stop-loss carrier out in Montana.  What I learned is that overall we are a very good company from a safety stand point.  I discuss that a bit in the podcast.  We also need drivers to get their HazMat endorsements -- we pay an extra $150 for you to get the endorsement AND you'll earn an extra $25/load.

The company picnic -- please come.  It's scheduled for September 9th from 11 -- 3 and there are a ton of things for the kids along with live music and a BBQ pig.  We'd love to meet you.

In this episode I talk with Eric Ruth, our internal claims attorney and corporate attorney.  There is a lot more that he does here than most people will realize.  He can help drivers fight tickets and other violations that could impact their license or driving record.  He recounts several good stories about how he has been able to help drivers fight tickets and lawsuits because of the Drive Cam systems.

The company picnic is scheduled for Sunday, September 9th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Seven Lakes State Park in Holly.  The address is 14390 Fish Lake Road, Holly, MI 48442.  We are planning a pig roast with all the fixings' to include a live band, bounce houses, face painting, a petting zoo for the kids, soccer/footballs, corn hole and sack races, volleyball and horseshoes and of course the lake and playground.  Adult beverages are welcome, responsibly, but not provided by the company.  Your family, kids, grand kids, everyone is welcome.  We are very excited about this first annual company picnic and look forward to seeing everyone.
