FR - Elias Sanbar (°1947, Haïfa) est l’un des écrivains et historiens arabes contemporains les plus éminents, traducteur de l'œuvre de Mahmoud Darwich et ambassadeur de la Palestine auprès de l'UNESCO. Il a fondé la Revue d'études palestiniennes, l'une des publications les plus respectées sur la Palestine. Avec sa fille et l'actrice Mayya Sanbar, il propose une lecture de poèmes et une discussion sur la poésie et la situation en Palestine.

Hij was medeoprichter en hoofdredacteur van de Revue d'études palestiniennes, één van de meest gerespecteerde publicaties over Palestina. Samen met actrice Mayya Sanbar, zijn dochter, zal hij een reeks gedichten voordragen en in gesprek gaan over poëzie en de situatie in Palestina.
