¡Holaaa!

Holaaa! how are you? dear hive community, I hope you are very well, this time I want to give you a new cover with my friend Orianna Santamaria, "La gata bajo la lluvia" quite well known of the singer Rocio Durcal, I think many of us heard our mothers cleaning the house or cooking while singing this song at the top of their lungs, my mom did not sing it at the top of her lungs but she heard it a lot, we made this version with piano and voice and a couple of subtle elements to give it a little color. I hope you enjoy it, Orianna of course doing a masterful interpretation. Best regards.

¡Hola!

Hello! How are you? Today I want to share with you a new cover with my friend Orianna Santamaria of the song "Ya no quiero" by Jesse and Joy and I think it may uncover some nostalgic memories to some of you, because although it is a song that is a few years old, maybe it was the soundtrack of many in those days. I enjoyed making this instrumental although I must confess that it took me a little bit, because it is one of those songs that sound simple, but have many things to do and details to make it sound as it should sound, I hope you like it.

¡Hola!

Hello, how are you Hive community? Music Zone community, which I have been retaking, and today I come to participate in a new initiative that I think is very cool. "Jamming" is what is colloquially called when some musicians improvise or play songs or rhythms in which they agree at the same time they decide to play, so you have to have at least a knowledge base for this, so I like is that we can see different tips suggestions and teachings of colleagues.

To Solear, fingering on a base of chords and a specific rhythm is necessary in the first place to have musical intuition of the harmonic circle, at least that before starting the jam, the harmonic circle is thrown as for example, the one I will use in this improvisation. 4 bars in Am, 2 bars in Dm, 2 bars in Am and 2 bars in E. Then to solear in principle we can use the minor scale of A, which would be: A B C D E F G A however the relative major scale of this scale is C, this scale is: C D E F G A B - They are almost exactly the same notes, with the exception of a G# that is added when the harmonic circle uses the E major that creates the chord: E G# B

So two ways to form phrases is: combining these two scales and I would get most of the chords right, if not all of them, and also in this case of today's improvisation, I used a little bit the pentatonic scale, which is nothing more than to play certain specific notes.

Hey!

Hey, how are you Hive Community? Especially to the community of Music Zone, in the Hive music festival, time without being here, I'm trying to resume a little uploading content for these communities that I had abandoned, we are back and with lots of encouragement to be continuously participating in the festival. This time I bring for you a song that has been iconic, almost an anthem of Los Caramelos de Cianuro, besides that Venezuelans have this band as one of the best of the Venezuelan rock movement, although it is true that they have very good songs and also iconic, I think this is one of the main ones, even though it is from their last albums. Sometimes this kind of songs, makes us identify ourselves and no, it has nothing to do with living the lyrics exactly, but rather with the feeling it produces, making the melody with the guitar trying to convey what the singer does with his voice, takes time to decipher, however it is something that I think is achieved in this piece.

The melancholic melodies, the phrases that perhaps may seem repetitive, but with a little seasoning it manages to transmit that nostalgia of some story that comes to our mind, of those people who today are not in our lives and that allows us to live some memory, not in a sad way but rather nostalgic, between joy and sadness but that is much more the joy of having lived the story that has been told.
