Our work is to be set apart for God.

So often, as Jesus' followers we can create a divide between work within the church and work outside it, as if one is more important to God than the other. This is not God's view of work. God is just as interested in Mondays as He is in Sundays.  

Christ values your work.

He wants to empower your work.

Ultimately through His work, it frees us to work whole-heartedly.

Jesus' call for us to love the 'least' is a challenging one, but it is a call that He embodied by becoming the least. The creator of the universe, puts on flesh, is born in a stable and humbles himself to the point of death, even death on a cross!

When we were hungry - He gave us the Bread of Life

When we were thirsty - He gave us Living Water

When we were lost - He found us

When we were ashamed - He clothed us in His righteousness

When we were imprisoned by sin and guilt - He broke our chains and set us free

When despair surrounds us - He gives us light and hope

When death was surely the end - Jesus made a way out for us
