It's the first Sunday in December.

The room is in full Christmas mode. The glitter ball is rotating, the trees are glowing, the carols are being sung, and we are celebrating 'The Wonder Of Christmas'.

This Sunday was special.

We shared our new partnership with CompassionUK, a charity committed to releasing child poverty in Jesus' name.

James who is part of Compassion, from Sutton Coldfield, shared our new partnership project in Togo. The response was incredible, with over 20 children sponsored, and still community coming forward to sponsor a child providing a new hope for these kids.

It's the final episode of the Around the Fire, Faithful In Prayer series.

For 4 weeks as the Autumn season set in, we looked at this subject of being 'Faithful in Prayer' in our Sunday gatherings.

Luke talks more about prayer more than any other Gospel account. Prayer was a given. Luke isn’t trying to convince us to pray, but encourage us in how we pray. There is an invitation to know God, to talk and listen, to join in Kingdom plans through prayer. Luke includes 2 parables that help us to learn how to be bold and faithful in prayer.
