Are the Jewish people responsible for the death of Christ?

Why did God choose Israel as His people? What was the message he was trying to convey? How does that affect us today?

During the feast of Atonement, the Jewish people looked back on their sin from the previous year as the high priest made a sacrifice on the mercy seat. We tie this feast to the ultimate atonement Jesus secured for us by the shedding of His blood. 

We continue our series on the feasts of the Old Testament by looking at the Feast of Trumpets and how Jesus fulfilled it. 

When we look at the feasts that God commanded His people to celebrate, we see their fulfillment in Jesus. 

Many religions claim to provide a way to God. However, the Bible clearly states that there is only one way to achieve holiness before the Lord.

God commanded that the priests in the Old Testament were to sacrifice for the sins of the people. However, Jesus became the permanent High Priest as a sacrifice for our sins. 

When we look at the 10 Commandments, we can approach them from a perspective of contentment or greed. Which will you choose?

It is impossible for us to withstand the glory of God in our present state. Thankfully we have a way to be shielded from the glory and wrath of God. 

Moses needed help in lifting up the staff of the Lord in order to win the battle. So too, modern church leaders need help in lifting up the Lord.
