Alan Scott is the founding and lead pastor of the Causeway Coast Vineyard Church. Since its beginning the church has grown through scattered servants who bring life to the city. The church has planted several other churches and is the originator and catalyst for the healing on the streets movement. Alan lives on the North coast of Northern Ireland where he enjoys dating his wife Kathryn, raising his two girls, being with friends and thinking and dreaming of ways to lead the church beyond the building.

Despite the challenges, we expect ‘God encounters’. During uncertain times, when economies fail, governments falter and leaders fall, our God remains faithful, dependable and worth our trust. So we expect God to meet people in our gatherings, in their streets, in their workplaces. We expect to hear stories of divine healing, supernatural provision and community transformation.

Our mission is not only to run well and there it ends; but to pass on the baton to the next generation. A dynamic occurs when women who are younger, with energy and strength, unite with those older, with experience and wisdom. It is then that the results can be far reaching.

Julia Derbyshire has served alongside her husband, Steve at City Gates for 23 years where she has established an inspirational women’s ministry that oversees different expressions. Some of her favourite things are Pilates and living in London.

There are people in all of our lives whose influence has helped shape who we are today and who we will become in the future. They have passed on a baton with which we run to continue a great legacy. It’s our time to carry the baton and create our own legacy that future generations will embrace. We should count it a privilege and also a responsibility to create a life that others will be inspired by and when they pick up the baton we should aim to become their greatest cheerleader.

Lynda Heron is married to Jason (Elim Church Northampton) and serves on the National Core Team for Aspire. A gifted and refreshing communicator, Lynda is passionate to influence and encourage all women to realise their God given potential.

Chris Cartwright commenced his new role as Elim’s General Superintendent at the Elim Leaders’ Summit 2016. He began his ministry in the late 1980's at Kensington Temple where he was respectively worship pastor, Director of the IBIOL and associate minister.

Chris has also pastored City Temple in Cardiff and in 2010 he became the Regional Leader for Wales and the Southern Region. He is married to Annie and they have three children.

John Glass entered the ministry in 1970 and was elected as General Superintendent of the Elim Pentecostal Church in 1999. He concludes his fourth term of office at the Leaders Summit 2016.

Prior to this he was Elim's Regional Superintendent in Scotland and led churches across the UK, including four that he pioneered. He travels internationally as a conference speaker and appears regularly on Christian TV and has authored several books. He was appointed as chair of Council of the Evangelical Alliance in 2014. John is married to Marilyn.

Prayer is such a wide subject with different dimensions and expressions. However, in order for us to see real change in our families, churches, communities, cities and nation, not only do we have to break through in prayer, but we have to learn to sustain the breakthrough we gain through prayer.

James leads Prayer Storm a movement of worship, prayer and fasting crying out to God for a great awakening in our nation. James also worked at the Message Trust coordinating the Prayer Strategy for 7 years. James is married to Rebecca who leads worship at the Prayer Storm gatherings and together they have a son.

As Elim enters into a new century of influence, we are faced with amazing opportunities but also unprecedented challenges and opposition as we swim against the tide of the prevailing culture. How can we overcome the hurdles before us? In our increasingly diverse and seemingly post-Christendom context, this session will equip you with a helpful understanding of the underlying cultural frameworks that can inform your ministry and leadership strategies to effectively meet the challenges ahead.

Together with his wife Catherine, Dominic leads One Church, a new Elim church in Norwich. Up until mid-2015, Dominic was the senior leader of Letchworth Garden City Church and before that, up to 2009, an assistant pastor and Director of Training at Kensington Temple.

Ian comes from Bootle Elim church in Liverpool and he is married to Kate. Ian is passionate about seeing lives changed and transformed by the presence of God. As part of Elim Sound, his desire is that his songs can impact lives and has a longing for God's Spirit to break through and transform broken lives.
