Ximena fue una de las primeras cantautoras exponentes de la música indie folk que pude escuchar, de ahí parte mi gusto por ese aire bohemio, melancólico y orgánico de las canciones.

¿Cómo están? Es bueno saludarles, un gusto real, genuino y del que no miente. Quise compartir con todos esta canción super hermosa de “Mi Amigo Invencible”, titulada “Suavemente Entusiasmado”, del álbum “Nuestro mundo” lanzado el 2020.

Este álbum contiene canciones mágicas, capaces de transportarte, nos hace volar la cabeza. Puedo estar haciendo un par de flexiones, trabajando, cualquier cosa puedo estar haciendo, pero cuando suena esta canción es inevitable sentir conexión con el espacio y lo que me rodea, como si me hiciera realmente parte de todo lo que no era.

Disfruté mucho grabando la canción, sobre todo el ensayo, cuando pude hacer coincidir los acordes para interpretar la rola, se sintió realmente agradable. Los agudos de esta canción son complicados, pero, canté muy suelto, sin mucho tecnicismo, como cantaría para mí mismo y eso facilitó las cosas.

Bueno espero que disfruten la canción, yo me despido, deseándoles a todos un montoón de bendiciones.

How are you? It is good to greet you, a real, genuine pleasure that does not lie. I wanted to share with everyone this super beautiful song from “Mi Amigo Invencible”, titled “Suavemente Entusiasmado”, from the album “Our world” released in 2020.

This album contains magical songs, capable of transporting you, blowing our minds. I can be doing a couple of push-ups, working, anything I can be doing, but when this song plays it is inevitable to feel connection with the space and what surrounds me, as if it really made me part of everything that I was not.

I really enjoyed recording the song, especially the rehearsal, when I was able to match the chords to perform the song, it felt really nice. The highs of this song are complicated, but, I sang very loosely, without much technicality, as I would sing for myself and that made things easier.

Well I hope you enjoy the song, I say goodbye, wishing you all a lot of blessings.

Es bonito mirar atrás y recordar momentos especiales ignorando un poco todos esos pensamientos dolorosos y angustiosos, ver atrás debería ser motivo de sonrisas y no de tristezas; personas sin iguales, lugares de ensueño y música mágica que ambienta la atmosfera.

La canción que les comparto hoy tiene este aire de ayer que me hace sonreír, es como ver toda una musicalización de escenas de mi vida junto a mi familia y eso me contagia de mucha nostalgia y sentimientos. Hay algunos recuerdos borros del pasado, logro visualizar esos días de niñez compartiendo con pequeños amigos, los niños que asistían a la iglesia junto a mí; recuerdo algunos helados muy sabrosos que vendía la hermana Carmen, helados que endulzaban y refrescaban mi boca. Veía a los grandes, los adultos, como personas increíbles y yo aquí a esta edad, entrando ya a los treinta años, me pregunto si ellos tuvieron las mismas dudas y dificultades que yo afronto ahora mismo.

Marcos Witt ha escrito canciones muy hermosas y emblemáticas a través de su trayectoria musical; canciones que han marcado a toda una generación y que todavía siguen tocando corazones y moviendo la mano de Dios. Aunque realmente este cantico no es de la autoría de Marcos, los arreglos únicos que él inyectó en la canción hacen de la suya mi versión favorita; un aire suave y agradable de jazz impregna todo lo que hay alrededor cuando las melodías resuenan.

Esta es la semana numero 96 ronda 3 del festival. Su colega y compañero Elison se despide y les desea muchas bendiciones a ustedes y todos sus familiares; que en tiempos de turbulencia y mucha ansiedad social, podamos ver, todos, la mano de Dios moviéndose con poder y estableciendo su voluntad, la cual es buena, agradable y plenamente perfecta. ! [text in English] It is nice to look back and remember special moments while ignoring all those painful and distressing thoughts a little. Looking back should be a reason for smiles and not sadness; people without equals, dream places and magical music that sets the atmosphere.

The song that I share with you today has this air of yesterday that makes me smile, it is like seeing a whole musicalization of scenes from my life with my family and that infects me with a lot of nostalgia and feelings. There are some blurred memories from the past, I can visualize those days of childhood sharing with little friends, the children who attended church with me; I remember some very tasty ice creams that Sister Carmen sold, ice creams that sweetened and refreshed my mouth. Although this song is not actually written by Marcos, the unique arrangements that he injected into the song make his my favorite version; A soft and pleasant air of jazz permeates everything around as the melodies resonate.

En tiempos de abatimiento y angustia, cuando el paisaje pinta fusco y las aguas son turbulentas, podemos pensar en distintos escenarios, incluso cuestionando los resultados posibles o los motivos que hay detrás. Por mi parte, siempre recuerdo cuando Jesús iba en esa barca junto a sus discípulos, momento en el que desató una gran tempestad en el mar.

La reacción de todos en la barca fue de temor y miedo; había angustia en el corazón de todos hasta el punto de olvidar el hecho de que estaban con aquel Hombre que hacía tales milagros frente a sus ojos; pero eso que hicieron ellos es algo que probablemente hubiera hecho yo. En momentos difíciles, cuando los vientos son contrarios y parece que no hay nada a nuestro a favor, es fácil quitar la mirada de Jesús; la figura del problema se convierte en algo notable, visiblemente gigante ante nuestros ojos, y nosotros, pequeños como David, ¿qué podemos hacer? ¿a quién acudimos, a quién llamar en ese momento?

Jesús, cuando despertó en medio de la tormenta y vio a sus discípulos, les dijo palabras como: ¿aún no creéis? Dijo Eso y mandó a callar al viento y al mar; entonces hubo paz, una gran paz envolvió el lugar, así que sus discípulos decían entre ellos: ¿quién es este, que hasta el viento y el mar le obedecen?

Es bueno saludar a todos en el festival, espero que estén bien ustedes y sus familias. “Acuérdate Oh Señor” es un cántico que me gusta mucho, y ese salmo 106:4-5 que acompaña al cantico, es uno de los pocos que he podido memorizar. Me gusta reflexionar en lo dependiente que soy de la gracia y la misericordia del Dios creador Todopoderoso; me gusta decirle de vez cuando: acuérdate de mí, según tu benevolencia para con tu pueblo; es necesario seguir orando por la paz y la justicia de Dios, pues es la perfecta.

“Nos Queda Mucho Dolor Por Recorrer” es una canción de Ed Maverick con Daniel Quién, canción que me encanta; la letra me ha llevado a saborear momentos especiales en mi vida.

Toqué la canción medio tono abajo así que estaba ahogándome con los graves jajaja la canción naturalmente ya me quedaba super difícil en los graves, pero quise grabar en el calor del momento, sin mucho ensayo, quería cantar y lo hice sin mucho para no perder el empuje del momento.

Siempre había querido versionar esta canción, quizás pueda hacer algo más hermoso más adelante, pero conociéndome, si me dejo llevar por lo quiero hacer mañana nunca lo haré jajaja.

I played the song half a tone down so I was drowning in the bass hahaha the song was naturally already super difficult for me in the bass, but I wanted to record in the heat of the moment, without much rehearsal, I wanted to sing and I did it without much so as not to lose the push of the moment.

I had always wanted to cover this song, maybe I can do something more beautiful later, but knowing me, if I get carried away with what I want to do tomorrow I will never do it hahaha.

Hola. Paz para todos, espero que estén muy bien ustedes y sus familias.

Por acá han sido días raros, movidos y también buenos; me es sensación agradable pasearme por la comunidad y saludar a todos, jugar un rato con la camarita y el sonido, practicando algunas canciones que simplemente envejecen muy bien.

Recuerdo cuando Luis, la persona que me enseño los primeros acordes en mi guitarra, él cantaba mucho esta canción; mirando atrás, recuerdo que esta me parecía una canción hermosa y al mismo tiempo complicada, sin embargo, hoy, unos años después, veo con más amabilidad las canciones que Luis nos regalaba con cariño.

Es lunes por la noche y sinceramente solo quiero descansar largo… Hasta el miércoles, pero muchas cosas no son posibles así que toca dar lo mejor de nosotros mañana también. Pórtense bien, que alegría de verdad saludar a todos esta noche de Julio.

Well it's Sunday night and I wanted to leave you this here, a short 15 second video that I made as a “video test” testing the settings of the “Filmic Pro” application a little while rehearsing a song for our musical community. I want to invite content creators, especially my fellow musicians and anyone who enjoys experimenting with their phone cameras, to try two alternatives for recording videos: Open Camera and Filmic Pro.

These alternatives are very good, they are applications with advanced settings, designed to allow us to really squeeze the full potential of our phones' cameras. It should be noted that they are applications for recording, not for editing; For video editing, I will continue to recommend CapCut for the tool's well-known intuitive features.

I want to highlight that both applications work really well for me. “Open Camera” on the one hand is the app that I have used until today; Available for Android, it offers good and more natural results, which makes creativity a little easier when editing. On the other hand, “Filmic Pro”, available for Android and iPhone, is an application that I downloaded recently, yesterday night actually, due to recommendations on YouTube and good reviews; “Filmic Pro” also has powerful settings and a peculiarity is that, when exporting the videos, they do not have the natural color but a different color processing; The latter can be very good or very bad, it depends on the taste and purpose of the creator.

So that the experience is completely pleasant and we are not lost in the applications, I do recommend that we inform ourselves a little about terms such as: FPS, Focus, White Balance, saturation, among others; although learning as you go is also valid. I would also always recommend using images or videos for reference and to our preference. Another plus point for these applications is that they are compatible with external microphones and other hardware such as gimbals.

Bueno es domingo por la noche y quería dejarles esto por acá, un video cortito de 15 segundos que realicé como “video test” probando un poco los ajustes de la aplicación “Filmic Pro” mientras ensayaba una canción para nuestra comunidad musical. Quiero invitar a los creadores de contenido, especialmente a mis colegas músicos y todo aquel que disfrute experimentar con la cámara de sus teléfonos, a probar dos alternativas para grabar videos como son: Open Camera y Filmic Pro.

Estas alternativas son muy buenas, son aplicaciones con configuraciones avanzadas, diseñadas para permitirnos exprimir realmente todo el potencial de las cámaras de nuestros teléfonos. Cabe resaltar que son aplicaciones para grabar, no para editar; para editar videos seguiré recomendando CapCut por las reconocidas características intuitivas de la herramienta.

Quiero resaltar que ambas aplicaciones me funcionan realmente bien. “Open Camera” por un lado es la app que he usado hasta hoy; disponible para Android, ofrece resultados buenos y más naturales lo que facilita un poco la creatividad a la hora de editar. Por otro lado, “Filmic Pro”, disponible para Android y iPhone, es una aplicación que descargué hace poco, ayer en la noche en realidad, por recomendaciones en YouTube y buenas críticas; “Filmic Pro” tiene también poderosas configuraciones y una peculiaridad es que, al exportar los videos, estos no tienen el color natural sino un procesado de color distinto; esto último puede ser muy bueno o muy malo, depende del gusto y la finalidad del creador.

Para que la experiencia sea completamente placentera y no estemos perdidos en las aplicaciones, sí recomiendo que nos informemos un poco sobre términos como: FPS, Enfoque, Balance de blancos, saturación, entre otros; aunque aprender sobre la marcha también es válido. También recomendaría siempre utilizar imágenes o videos de referencia y a nuestra preferencia. Otro punto a favor para estas aplicaciones, es que son compatibles con micrófonos externos y otros hardware como gimbals.
