Today I’m talking with Adam Schaub, who is the co-founder and CEO of Strange Quest, a mobile gaming startup from Stockholm, Sweden. Adam has been in the games industry for over 20 years and has seen a lot of different kinds of companies, gaming platform and ways of making games. We’ll be talking about all of those and more.
Today I'm getting interviewed by Erkki Lassila, who is a Doctoral student in the University of Oulu. It's an interesting talk about the different topics around analytics in gaming, and how it's seen as a driving force for free to play game development.
Steffen Kabbelgaard is the co-founder and CEO of BetaDwarf, an online game studio based out of Copenhagen Denmark. Steffen and his team have been slowly cooking their games company and they just recently announced their Series A round of funding. BetaDrawf is a unique games company and we’ll now hear the company story from Steffen himself.
Ilkka Perheentupa is the founding partner of Avance Attorneys, a Helsinki, Finland based law firm, who has represented several Nordic gaming companies, including Next Games, Seriously, Small Giant Games, Traplight and Snowprint Studios. Ilkka has worked with gaming entrepreneurs for several years, and we will now discuss the different aspects that can come up in the early and later stages of gaming startups.
Riley Andersen is the Co-Founder and CEO of Umami Games, a hyper casual games startup from Copenhagen Denmark. Riley has been in the games industry for a few years now, but she has already started two games companies, and is working quickly towards the right game with the right KPIs.
Will Luton runs a management consultant company called Department of Play, which focuses on the games industry. Will has been in the industry for over a decade and is an active spokesperson on making things better in gaming.

Matteo Vallone is a Principal at venture capital firm Initial Capital, who invests in seed and early-stage companies with a focus on games, consumer services and technology enablers. Matteo worked for several years at Google Play, where he got to work with game developers and eventually transitioned into working with them as an investor.
