What is your relationship to cooking? Do you like to cook or prefer someone else does it for you? Do you see it as a chore or as a fun pastime? Did you grow up in a household where one or both of your parents enjoyed cooking, or did you eat a lot of take-out and TV dinners? What are your favorite dishes to prepare?

  • Love What Arises with Lindsay Green

My name is Lindsay Green. I am a woman continuously seeking a deeper understanding and acceptance of myself. In my lessons, I want to share what I discover with others. I was born and raised on the east coast, always by the water. I have spent the last 20 years in the west, Colorado, and recently returned East to be where my heart is most full-near the ocean. I have been in the graphic and website design world for the last 9 years and am now shifting into coaching and yoga. Currently, my new direction with Radass Women is creating a community of women who are willing to show up and share the challenges they face and the successes they create, together. Truly I am a work in progress. I am far from perfect and am practicing to the best of my ability to love myself when I have fallen short of my own human expectations. My desire is to discover the gifts and give them away.

  • Navigating Resilience with Megan Henry

This episode contains sensitive material for mature audiences only.

Megan Henry is from a tiny, rural town in Sampson County, North Carolina. She grew up being outside and reading books to entertain herself, because there wasn't much to do. Her parents liked to travel for family vacations, and once she was in middle school, she started to get more involved in the arts. Those early trips with her family, and her artistic hobbies shaped much of who she is today. She has had opportunities to travel which led her to pursue work in festivals and live events.

During our conversation today, Megan shares her past experience of being in an abusive relationship and how she continues to navigate the waters ahead. The light she sheds on this topic of depth is incredibly resilient.

  • Innovation + Honesty with Danny "Louis." Thomas II

In a field where musicians and rappers have become increasingly devoted to promoting more of their image and less of themselves, Danny Thomas II, known as Louis., is building a reputation by being his honest self. Louis. aims to promote innovation and honesty in his music.

The titular Wilmington, NC rapper, producer, and poet treads the line between socialite and activist, choosing to focus his message on the complexities of the moral and mental grey area that all people live in.

The rapper puts conscious and honest raps over laid-back and drum-driven hip-hop production, some of which the emcee has produced himself. Louis. also moonlights as hip-hop producer Tod Soul, founder of producer-collective Beats & Coffee.

Thomas got his BFA in Creative Writing with a focus in poetry from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Louis.' influences include artists like Mos Def, J Dilla, Lupe Fiasco, and Kanye West.

  • Manifesting + Courage with Liana Belanich

Liana Belanich recently opened Prana Salt Cave after living in Wilmington almost 15years. She arrived from New York  not sure of who she was or what she would do. She decided that she would continue her education; expanding on her associates degree. She chose to earn a Bachelor’s in Business Management from UNCW. After graduating in December of 2012 she continued to search for what she wanted. Dabbling in sales, marketing and continuing to work in the service industry, Liana searched for healing and a meaningful purpose. She decided to get her 200hr Kunga yoga teacher certification from Wilmington Yoga Center in 2015. From there her love for health and wellness continued to expand. She started her 500hr certification while opening her mind to new ideas. She came across salt caves and realized this would be something special for the Wilmington community to have. She could continue to learn about holistic modalities and share them with everyone. Liana could continue to learn and grow while creating a safe place for others to do the same. After 2.5 years of manifesting, promoting and asking for help from family and friends; Liana was able to open the doors to Prana Salt Cave on August  24th 2019.  She will continue to help others with many aspects of healing and following ones dreams. Liana will encourage others to shine bright as she expands her own.
