Historyman presents Eliza Pinckney by Peggy Pickett.  Peggy Pickett gives us a peak at her book about the South Carolina heroine, Eliza Pinckney.  As a teenager, Eliza was given control of a sugar cane farm in Antigua and then new land in the colony of South Carolina.  Walk in the footsteps of this young and intrepid woman as she turned her holdings into a leading manufacturer of indigo. She then went on to become the mother of some of the RevWar heroes of the state.  Freedom Reigns!
