Historyman presents Dr. Andrew Waters and The Race to the River Dan.  In his new book Dr. Waters details how General Daniel Morgan retreats from Cowpens with British prisoners and links up with American General Greene in North Carolina.  Greene uses his understanding of the North Carolina river systems to outfox General Cornwallis and make it across the Dan River and into Virginia.  This feat was acomplished over several weeks and Greene was able to save his army to then fight at Guilford Courthouse later.  Freedom Reigns!
