Amy Wright connects with Elizabeth Cook in conversation, covering her Florida roots, her music career as a woman in country, and much more. We’ve connected with Elizabeth a couple of times already, once in Nashville at The Purple Building and once at our studios in Memphis for the DittyTV Concert Series, so we’re glad to catch up again.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of Cook’s career-defining LP Balls, an 11-song collection produced by Rodney Crowell. She’s also currently a radio host on Sirius XM with her hit show, Elizabeth Cook’s Apron Strings, and she released her most recent album Aftermath in 2020 via Agent Love Records, so there’s plenty of ground to cover.
